Different types of surface treatments for pistons.
The following are the effects and application scenarios of several different surface treatments of pistons. We have several grades in total, including: no coating, coated (divided into different colors: black, green, red), coatings can be added with your own LOGO and scale, and double coatings.
Surface Treatment
Function and Purpose
Application Scenarios
No Surface Treatment
Maintain the original surface state of the piston, no special effect
Suitable for some pistons with general performance requirements, such as low-power small internal combustion engines
MAHLE Treatment
Enhance the surface hardness and wear resistance of the piston, improve lubrication performance
Suitable for high-power large internal combustion engines and other applications that require high surface hardness and wear resistance in harsh environments, such as racing cars and performance cars
Graphite Printing
Enhance the lubrication performance of the piston surface, reduce wear and friction coefficient
Suitable for high-speed pistons, such as generators, turbines, racing cars, etc.
Molybdenum Disulfide Coating
Increase the lubrication performance and wear resistance of the piston surface, improve service life
Suitable for pistons in high-speed and high-temperature environments, such as aviation, aerospace, racing cars, etc.
MAHLE Treatment + Molybdenum Disulfide Coating
On the basis of MAHLE treatment, apply molybdenum disulfide coating to comprehensively improve the hardness, lubrication performance and wear resistance of the piston surface
Suitable for high-power large internal combustion engines and other applications that require high surface hardness, lubrication and wear resistance in harsh environments, such as heavy-duty construction machinery, racing cars, performance cars, etc.
